You know the wildlife is getting desperate for food when they come knocking on your door. Heard a scratch and some odd noise on the side of my house this afternoon. When I looked out the window, I saw a racoon scratching at my side door. (If you remember back last year or so, I had a similar incident, but much more exciting) I don't normally see racoons out and about in the middle of the day, during a light snow shower. It was either really hungry, or sick, or both. At any rate, is is none of those things anymore. Ruger MKII gets another notch on the barrel. It has been quite a while since the critters here have been able to get out and forage their normal haunts. They are branching out now.
