While I was living in Red China, the US elected their first "black" president. Here he is bowing down to the head of the Red Chinese government. If you look at his socialistic agenda, his bowing down to the Chinese makes sense. So is he black or is he red?

I don't think so DA, I think he is very brave in pushing his agenda. Unfortunately, his agenda is totally ruining the economy of this country. He is a strong believer in income redistribution i.e. he thinks he is robin hood. It looks good to some of his brethern, but is very short sighted.
I was watching CCTV 9 on cable last night (I got used to watching it while living in Shanghai). Obama is presuring them to unpin the yuan from the dollar. This will "make American made goods cheaper for those in China to buy". As I write this, the rate of exchange is 6.82 yuan to the dollar. Let's say that they do this and it drops to 3.41 yuan to the dollar. That means to the Chinese consumer that a $20,000 Buick that today would cost them 136,400 yuan would only cost them 68,200 yuan. "This will create a lot more jobs in the US making Buicks. Bullpucky, the Chinese build Buicks in China. If they need something, they build it, not buy it.
What does this mean to the U.S. consumer? A TV that costs 6820 yuan is sold here in the US for $1000. With Obama's change, using the numbers above for example, it would cost $2000.
Dick Morris said it best: "Obama might be the first anti-American president we have ever had." I firmly believe this, and I don't think he is a "Christian" either. He attended a "Christian" chuch, but that was in order to assist him in his quest for power.
So he is raising taxes, and weakening the dollar, but of course that only effects "the rich". Yeah right. So the guy that was going to buy a new TV and a new John Deere lawn mower no longer has money for both. The kids want a TV, so he buys it, but no John Deere. That creates jobs?
These may be the good old days.

There was an issue of National Geographic a couple years ago dedicated to China. They talked about the number of goods made there in relation to the rest of the world. It was pretty amazing, I forget the numbers for toys, textiles - but I do remember socks being really high. What I do remember was 9% of all goods imported from China to the US end up on Wal Mart's shelves.

As far as taxes go, I was quite surprised and delighted Monday when I got my tax forms back from my CPA and learned that I will be paying 10% of what I have been paying in the past few years. Yup, hundreds instead of thousands. (Of course two of the exemptions are going away.) Taxes may be going up, but they haven't yet for me! Woo-hoo!

I thought that I would never live to see a black president bowing his head to a commie. The polite word that I used was "Yellow", but the shade of yellow is Chickenshit Yellow. ;D
