I was wondering if Talo Distributors was going to have a COLT 100th Anniversary edition. I got an e-mail back from Bob, and he said there were a lot of politics involved, and there wasn't going to be one. Well, Colt put out one on their own. And according to Gun Broker, the first one sold for $83,025.00 www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=206871796The thing really special about this gun is the serial number "1911COLT2011". Way too rich for my blood.

...This very first thing that I would do to this pistol would be to cut the frame tangs and fit a Ed Brown Beavertail !!!

Love the deep polished blueing. Not so much a fan of an $83k gun I can't shoot.
