Dateline: August 15th, place: backyard, activity: trimming with Echo Nylon Trimmer, enemy spotted: TOAD.
Having listened to these noisy buggers at night when trying to sleep, mayhem was called for.
Full throttle contact nylon vs toad - toad went flying and landed on back. Toad flipped over and tried to crawl under a rock. Bad move, rock was mortared into cement foundation.
Full throttle contact nylon vs back of toad. Results: nothing. This toad has tough skin. Toad now very determined to get under rock. Tman very determined to kill toad.
Retrieved Beeman 17 equipped with laser, and nasty pointed pellets. Shot 1 in middle of back: toad jumped, pellet bounced off. Shot 2 in back of head: toad jumped, pellet bounced off. Shot 3 in butt, still no penetration. Shots 4 and 5 with same results.
Toad still trying to get under rock. Retrieved shovel. Toad saw a white light.
Conclusion: need more powerful air pistol with which to shoot toads.
