I went to Cablela's today to pick up some 30mm rings for my Remington 504-T that I bought a new 8-32 Mueller scope for. As usual, I had to go to the Bargain Cave.
I found the 397PA, which was originally priced at $169, for $99. This is a multi-pump air rifle with a maximum of 8 pumps.
I got in touch with my feminine side and couldn't resist the sale.
It had a lock on the trigger that they wouldn't remove until I had bought the rifle. After bringing it home, I found that it has the trigger from hell.
After my 1377 Crosman rebuild, I've decided that I'm not going to pour a lot of money into this rifle, but I'm sure I can improve the trigger.

Holy Moley, this thing is hard to pump up. You are supposed to be able to pump a maximum of 8 pumps, but 4 is about my physical limit (don't want to pop out any screws from my shoulder.

So, this one would be a Post-Charged Pneumatic Rifle I guess. Let's see.. that would make it a... PCP Rifle. Oh drat.
