news.yahoo.com/court-rules-n-y-shooting-victim-sue-gun-022216172.htmlFollowing the logic of this: if General Motors makes a car, sells it to a dealership who in turn sells it to a irresponsible person who has had DUI's, speeding tickets, etc. and that person runs into me, I should be able to sue the dealership and General Motors. Is it any wonder why manufacturers don't want to build here. (Of course building here is still better than in Europe - at least for now).

I wonder how they are getting around the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, which was put in place for just such instances? Ah, but it is in New York.

5OT, you are correct. I can't understand how any "gun guy" would live in NY (just a little shot at our buddy MLB).
By the way, since you live in Ohio, get off the computer and get busy. The votes in Ohio are really important.
I've already voted, for Obama of course because the Republicans want to take away my Social Security.
Does DoubleAction wear glasses? If he does, he will have to go clean them because his eyes just bugged out and got his glasses dirty. ;D

I'm going down with the ship here in NY.
I've been neglecting my gun forums lately. Things have been pretty busy. After 20 years of working at the same firm, I've taken a position at the local office of a large NYC engineering firm. It's a big change, going from a small office to a big corporate structure, but I think it will provide a lot of new challenges. Made it through my first day today. Probably one more day of paperwork, and then I'll likely be diving into the meat of it. Good stuff to come.

MLB, hope it works well for you. That is quite a step after 20 years with the same firm. I stayed with same company until early retirement, but there were a lot of different jobs that I had. Each time it was like starting over, sometimes it was quite difficult.
Remember to look me up if you ever get to the DFW area.
