Under New York’s new gun control law, semiautomatic rifles are now considered ‘assault weapons’.

It's the same as the old federal AWB, but instead of a semiauto rifle with two of the scary features, it only has to have one scary feature for NYS to call it an assault rifle.

........ML; In the wake of the last killings, one of the first things that Obama did, was to call Dianne Feinstein to write a piece of legislation, and shortly after this, Feinstein was getting together with Carolyn McCarthy, and the rest of the Gun Grabbing Jackasses. This Legislation has already already been drawn up, and submitted by many others over the years. What will remain is revolvers without grip frames, if that.
