Out of Stock at Bud's Gun Shop. What a surprise. Good luck in getting one. ......TMan; I did a google search on this pistol and came up with Bud's Gun Shop & Slickguns. Then I went to the Gunbroker Auctions, and came up with nothing. I posted a question on the Slick Gun facebook page, about this pistol. ....This pistol is probably a new import, and it might take some time for the suppliers to catch on. The S.H.O.T. Show has already passed for this year; This is where the manufacturers displays their products to the dealers.

Why did I waste 15 minutes watching that?
1) The gun is ugly. If you are going to chrome a gun then do the frame as well as the slide.
2) This was the guys first 1911. I'd rather hear from someone that has owned a few.
3) He obviously did not read the owner's manual. That is not the correct procedure for field-stripping a 1911. He was fortunate that it had a full-length guide rod or he could have been hit in the face.
4) Did anyone notice the locking lugs? They sure looked dry to me. That is the one place that I always use grease. On some of the tighter 1911's like Les Baer's, I just use grease on the lugs, but use a light weight oil on everything else.
5) Actually, I'm glad I did watch the video because it convinced me that this is a 1911 that I don't want to own.
Knowing that MLB has been wanting a 1911 for quite some time, I sure am glad that he got the Ruger one.

....The long hammer spur, and the stock grip safety, would to have be replaced for my hand. The question is this : Would this frame accept parts made for the American made 1911 pistols ?
....Whenever I see another 1911 manufactured, I try to post it on our 1911 thread. This displays more proof, that The Colt-Browning 1911 pistol is probably the most copied & modified semi-auto pistol ever made, during the last century, in the entire world.

That always makes me wonder where I can get more mags for my Norinco 45tt model. I have 2 at the moment but could use at least 4 more. I wonder just how many brands are interchangeable with the others.

Thank You very much for that info as now I know what to buy and where to get it as well. The 2 that came with it have both been quite good but more would be so much better of course. I'll need 5 no-matter what course I take.
