Becky got dropped by Sig Sauer because she wasn't selling enough guns. Now she has to buy via distributor for more money. This also meant that my P210 Legend order that was supposed to be filled on Dec 31 of last year got dropped too.
Add to this the Sig Sauer MK24. This is just a warmed over 226. Where do they get off using the MK prefix. In case you don't know, the H&K MK23 was the special forces pistol. So to the unwise, and there are a lot of them - proof BO got reelected, the MK24 would seem to be the follow-on to the MK23. That is a lot of fertilizer produced by the bovine species.
This is more what we see from the Sigarms people in the USA that have ruined the reputation of Sig Sauer. I would use stronger language, but my post would be censored and I might be banned from the forum.

There is little more off-putting than a company that takes you for a fool.

.....TMan; In the aftermath of the Federal Lawsuits against the Firearm Manufactures, during The Clinton Administration, Sig Sauer & S&W was sold off to new owners.
.....The changes made to S&W, and Sig Sauer has turned off many gunowners. Sig Sauer was sold to owners of a Textile Company; Lot, Stock, and Barrel.

...Under the previous owners, Sigarms / Sig Sauer was building some innovating pistols, and they was very polite. I met them at the S.H.O.T. Show in 1999, and their booth had the largest display of handguns, representatives, free stuff, and the handguns on display could be handled. They had rows of pistols on racks, secured by thin cables, tied to the rack. The representatives was dressed like The Men in Black without the Sunglasses. About every 3 hours, their counter would hand out different free gifts. The Reps. was very nice, and never hesitated to answer my question.
.......These are not the same owners, that runs Sig Sauer now.

DA, I don't have any problem with the German company, it is the people here in the USA that have frosted me over the years.
I like German designed and made stuff. I love my little Leica, but no way could I justify to myself (let alone to my wife) buying a S2-P or even an S2. They are just overpriced for my use. However, before buying the Nikon D700 I quoted the price of the S2-P to my wife, and she told me to go ahead and get it. That made the D700 an easy sell.
I think I mentioned in another post, but I'll repeat it here: I got her the D800 for Christmas and as she was unwrapping it she said: "Is it better than yours." That made my day because I was able to say "YES".

....TMan; I understand what you are telling me. I have five German Manufactured Sig Sauers : Three P-220s and Two Sig 229 Sport Pistols. The other pistols was manufactured by the original owners of Sigarms. About USA Sigarms, the frames was made in Germany, and the stainless slides was made in the USA.

Things at Sig Sauer change like the wind. Becky should check back with them now. I am not saying it will work, but there have been decisions made in recent months that were not necessarily adorned by the higher powers. Once distribution starts turning down orders, because they are choking on them, anybody with an FFL will be able to get whatever they want, direct from the factory. I can say this; we (the direct dealers) have been put on the back burner and distribution is getting most of the product.
To say Sig is and has been growing, is a big understatement. With that, come the pains.
