I had the pleasure of shooting a Brand New Coonan Stainless Steel Coonan pistol the other night. Brand new out of the box. We fired both 38spl and 357 ammo thru it. The hand grip is quite large for the size of the gun with what i found to be a long trigger reach but not too long. I have normal sized hands with short fingers so it has a slight finger reach for me but OK once you get a good two handed grip on it. They are longer then normal also. Reminds a bit of a Desert Eagle in a 40 or 44 cal for feel. The balance was very good actually and the kickback was very low actually. The fit and finish was extremely well done with extremely nice wood grips on this one. Overall a very attractive looking pistol that fired really well. Slightly longer then normal finger creep compared to my Smith 41 or 46. Yes I would Love to have one.

They are a expensive pistil to own but worth the cost I believe. Even for a new gun it fired quite well. You get two springs with them depending on which ammo you are firing. Either 38spl for one spring or 357 for the other. The stainless model is actually one of the cheaper models I have found out as well. Very pretty pistol. Spare Mags are pricy but well made.
