...Since being on The Internet, I have never post anything about the Astra A100. The above photo of The Sig Sauer P220 is the first Sig Sauer that I got for Christmas, in 1994, from my wife. My P220 was manufactured in West Germany and in 1994 the Sig Sauers was very difficult to find. The price of my P220 was $720., which was pricey during that time.
....In 1996, There was a Gun Dealer, that was working from his home, selling The Astra A100 pistols, with claims that the A100 pistols was no different than the German manufactured Sig Sauer P220. Many young gun buyers was falling for his sales pitch, but I called his hand when he told me that he could beat any price on a firearm. This "Gun Dealer" blew a fuse on me, when he could beat the price on my Colt Stainless National Match Gold Cup at $750. He was calling all over the country and when he came at $800. dollars, I reminded him of the shipping costs wasn't added in.
