What do you think of the Sig 250 DCc with internal hammer and the 226x5 with 19 rounds of 9mm, or 14 rounds of 40mm, sold in Europe? I would be more interested in these models then the GRS 1911.Dose Sig have a plant here in USA were they could manufacture these models or is there a load of red tape to get thru first?

livnhel; I think I remember reading about this pistol being manufactured at the Sauer plant in Germany. Sigarms in Exeter is owned by a different group of investors, and I do not know if the two are associated with the manufacture of this certain pistol.

Don't hold your breath waiting for SigArms to import the high capacity pistols. They seem a little preoccupied with rainbow-brite finishes and other ways to make a little more money.
I've called them a couple times about the 550 semi-auto version (at $2k+) and they always say "no way!"
