What lame excuse did I use to convince myself to purchase this one? I wanted it, it was a good price, it was purty, etc, etc..... What's the difference? I "needed" this gun. I kinda wanted the Tungsten DLC blackened slide, but that bumped the price another $80. Not worth it, imo.

Blackdog; I forgot to mention that Lame excuses usually pertain to Lame guns, which isn't the case here; You seem justified for your actions, which require no excuses or reason. ;D I know it's much lighter and more compact than the 239; What's you opinion between the two for carry? Nice piece, I bet you can tuck it about anywhere.

Thanks, DA. It's definitely lighter and more compact than the P239, that's for sure. In fact, it pretty much conceals itself! For purposes of carrying in the summer in shorts & t-shirt or just wanting something that you absolutley forget you're wearing, the PM9 is definitely a nice one to have. It takes a little getting used to not being able to fit your pinky finger on the grip (especially when I'm so used to the Hogues on that P239) but one makes sacrifices for concealability.
