I was shooting the Uberti .357 Magnum today and doing quite well with it, but not quite as good as I did with the Beretta Stampede, which is nickel plated. I thinking that it is the visibility of the nickle that makes me so accurate with it.
Anyhow, I let my buddy shoot it, and he replied that it didn't fit good in his hand. After shooting, we went shopping to 3 different gun stores. In the stores we tried holding guns having the Bisley and the Bird's Head grips. That convinced him that the traditional, which is what I have, fits him the best. For me the Bird's Head grip felt the best in my hand, but I don't know what it would be like shooting it.
So I'm wondering: of the guns people have shot/owned/held what grip fits your hand the best?

The Single Action Revolvers are more of a novelty for me than the modern double action revolvers. For this reason I've only handled the traditional grip frames, rather than pursuing my options with the Bisley and Birdshead grips. I've heard from many, who shoot the large bore magnums in the single action, that they prefer the Bisley grip frame over the tradional.
