I have been scouring around for either of these revolvers for a couple of years without success. When SOG finally had them, I could not resist. The M649 looked like it had suffered a bag of gravel for a holster. After a bit of careful polishing though, it cleaned right up. It had no lubrication whatsoever, but looked like it might have seen 50 rounds. SOG item # SW-M649 $295 The M38 was probably a cop's back-up. The leading edge of the cylinder has been radiused for comfort, and it has considerable honest holster wear. This pistol looked like it had been lubed with axle grease and graphite. After a good cleaning, I came to the conclusion that it had a very low round count as well. SOG item # SW-M38 $289 I did not pay for the handpicking, it never made a difference before with SOG, and I doubt it would have this time. I'm taking the out shooting today. SOG

XB:
Where are they on the site? I'll try the link on your message rather than go straight to Southern Ohio Guns.

Cally, they aren't on the website, they are in the FFL only catalog. Get your FFL holder to call SOG with the item number.
