I have a Springfield .38 super can I convert it to 9x23 and still shoot .38 super ?

livnhel; One way to convert your 38 super to the 9x23 is to ream the barrel chamber out for the 9x23 cartridge case. Another way is to aquire a 9x23 barrel for your Springfield, in order to switch back and forth between the two. You might want the barrel to have it's own fitted bushing. I gave the same thought to my Sig 220 in 38 super, but decided to keep the original barrel chambered for the 38 super. I would defintely not recommend shooting the 38 super in a chamber reamed for the 9x23; The oversized chamber will result in shorter brass life. For me; I use the brass for the chamber it is designed to fit.
