Hey guys,
tasilverbullet and I are planning a get together in Texas City at some point in the near future. The Texas City Municipal Range is about the nicest outdoor range I've ever seen.
If any other Houston area members are interested, we could go out there, shoot a couple thousand rounds and then get some supper.
I'll check with my dad, but I think that the range is open on Wednesday through Sunday (weather permitting). The shooting lanes are covered and I have shot there in a light rain before. I'm also not sure of the prices, but it's a per gun price and you have to use their targets.
I'm sure both silver bullet and I would appreciate the chance to try some pistols out and I'm willing to share with you guys... I know you won't break my stuff.
If you're interested, please reply to this message with some dates you would be available. Unless we wait for Thanksgiving week (I have the whole week off), then it would have to be Saturday or Sunday for me. But with enough notice any of those would be OK... except for November 6 or 7 (whichever is Saturday).
