Does anyone have any information about CDNN? I'm actually thinking about picking up a SIG from them but I'm not sure how that works or how reliable they are. Anyone else ever order from them?

Yes. I bought a lot of mags off of them post AWB. Everyone I've talked to who ordered guns from them said they are 100%. They're a big company and don't need negative publicity on the gunnet.

Thanks for the new topic DA ... good idea to get hits.
From what I can tell from asking around is that they are pretty reliable.
How quick do they sell out of their guns though at those prices? I'm thinking about picking up either a used P226, P229 or the new P229.

Well I ordered a P226 9mm K-kote w/ night sights in excellent condition from CDNN for $389 two days ago. Should be at my FFL in a day or two.
CDNN - Talked to someone named Brian who was very helpful and seemed to know what he was talking about (or at least he wasn't some phone operator that didn't know the products) and was very nice. Easy ordering, good service so far.
I'm stoked about getting my first SIG. If I like it, I just may have to pick up a few more. ;D

Anyone know what the SIG night sights are like? Are they just the glow in the dark ones that have to sit by a lamp before they glow?

I don't think the ones that sit by a lamp can rightfully be called "night sights". Those are the ones that came on my CZ75B. Kind of a cute idea, and no radiation, but not very practical.

Hopefully not ... but I only paid $10 to have them added so I'm not going to cry a river.
Great price on that gun if it is in as good condition as they claim.

DA, I usually place 2 or 3 orders a year from CDNN, and I have had no problems at all with them. One good thing about ordering a handgun from them is the shipping is only $10, because they send it through the US mail to your FFL dealer.

TBT; I keep many of my Sigs locked in the darkness of my safe, I can open the safe and see the Tritium sights on the Sigs glowing. The Night Sights on the Sigs are Tritium filled tubes placed in sealed cylinders within the sight, unlike the luminous material you find on watch dials. Several of the Sigs I bought have the Trijicon markings, and all that has no markings look identical to the Trijicons.

They also have a factory conversion kit for the P239 from .40 to .357 Sig. It includes the barrel and 1 magazine for $130.00.

You have to download their catalog. If you have dial-up, it will take forever.
When you go to their home page, just enter this number: sig357c
That should get you there.

My P226 is in, I pick it up Monday at 6:30PM. I'll be sure to let you all know how it is and what not.
Glad to hear the sights are real night sights. I was worried that they would be the crappy ones I got with my Taurus a while back that had to sit by a lamp for 10 minutes to heat up.
