I don't have many to choose from, but I usually shoot my XD .357sig the most at the range. Seems odd, as that is also the most expensive ammo for me to shoot. Currently it is my favorite to shoot. I like to switch to my P22 after shooting a 100-150 rds through the XD. Funny, no recoil

For the past wo years my Wilson CQB compact gets the most trips, with my Sig 220 in 38 super or my Sig 226 in .40 / 357 sig as a tag along to keep me up on the Sig Triggers.

Like 5ontarget, I always take a real gun and a .22. Of the real guns, I shoot the S&W 67 the most in .38 Special. Of the .22's it is that 10" Ruger that I put the Volquartsen kit in. However, I never shoot more than 100 rounds in either. I would shoot more in the Ruger, but holding that sucker up in the air for an extended period of time makes my back hurt. Getting old really sucks.

Picked up two new members of the ever growing family yesterday! Normally , it would be a Colt Gold Cup Trophy, and a S&W 686. So I have to clean and test fire at the range sometime this week the new members! First is a new Browning Buckmark "camper", in stainless .22, for the wife, and a Kel-Tec, P3AT, for the summer months, and that's only the beginning! Next are the guns for CAS.

I shoot about 100 rounds each from my S&W 625 and my Colt Gold Cup. If I am shooting a larger match with one of these I will shoot much more with that gun. I am shooting the 625 at the Florida State match next weekend so have using it more, but also shot a USPSA match yesterday with the Colt.

For inexpensive fun shooting, one of my Makarov's gets the most rounds through it. Along with that, my CQB Compact gets quite a bit of attention. It is just sooooo nice to shoot. I need to get my S&W 1911 Sc out more, since it is soon to be my primary carry gun. So far it is 100% reliable and with the scandium frame, it is nice and light.

I would shoot more in the Ruger, but holding that sucker up in the air for an extended period of time makes my back hurt. That's when you get out your little polymer P22 that you've been neglegting until last week. A little work on the trigger and you'll like it more. I have to break mine down and clean and lube the trigger group, I feel some grit in the trigger that wasn't there before.

...new Browning Buckmark "camper", in stainless .22 Hey SingleAction, congradulations on some fine purchases. If you have any feeding/jamming problems with the Buckmark, try the CCI mini-mag ammo. I swear by it. Also, when field stripping the Buckmark, be careful of the captive spring. It really wants its freedom and is held by a small c-clip, which amazingly I've been able to find on the two occasions it got away from me. Next time I'll use a little JB Weld on it.

I have to break mine down and clean and lube the trigger group, I feel some grit in the trigger that wasn't there before. I've never done a detailed breakdown on the little guy. Are there instructions anywhere? What can you do on the trigger to lighten it? The problem I initially had with it (light strikes and misfires) went away as it broke in (or after the application of Wilson's oil - don't know which fixed it).

Thanks TMan for the advice, on field stripping, and the CCI's. I haven't had a chance to get to them yet. Maybe I should order some extra springs.

The Walther G22 goes to the range with me EVERY TIME. My Buck Mark goes with me nine times out of ten.
Everything else is purely situational.

Fobos, at first I thought you were a lousy typist and meant to type P22. However, as a P22 owner I couldn't understand why you would always take it vs the Buckmark - cause my Buckmark is far better a pistol than my P22. Then (since I'm bored over here), I thought I'd check the Walther site. Low and behold there is such a thing as a G22, and it is one far out looking beast. It is a rifle vs. a handgun, so "Handgun Critiques" isn't the right place for a little review. However, there is a Companions to the Handgun section, where a little blurb about the gun would be appropriate. I'd really like to know why you like it so well. My normal dealer doesn't carry it, but I checked with Davidson's and they have it on sale for $360. What is the difference between the Bullpup and the Military versions? It wasn't clear from the website.
