You need to be a little more specific. Like what caliber are you looking for? Most of the guns that I have can be used by a left handed person. They have a safety on both sides or it can be switched along with the magazine release.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you are only dealing with 3 things: safety, magazine release, and grips.
I've often thought of moving my magazine releases to the other side because I have short thumbs. I have to shift the gun in my hand in order to release the magazine. If it was on the other side I could use my finger to release it. So, does the magazine release really matter?
Most high end guns are coming with the safety that can be operated from either side. Others have a safety that can be moved to the other side. If you buy a gun, like a Glock - no safety - no problem.
Where you would have a real problem would be with something like the Ruger Competition Mark II that has a big area for the thumb on the left grip. However, they specify that there is a thumb rest. So, just don't order something with a thumb rest.

hey thanks for the reply....i was thinking more along the lines of ejection chamber and slide release being on the other side.... the ejecting brass always shoots across my field of vision not that it truly matters, but i was just wondering if they make such a gun, maybe in 9mm, or .380. im still working my way up my FNP9 has an amidextrous decocker and reversable mag release, but i like those...mainly the ejection chamber, i guess....i use the pointing finger for slide release...

That's good - it means you are keeping your eyes open when you shoot. I'm serious; as lot of people will close their eyes just as the gun fires.
I never thought of the ejection port. I doubt if you are going to find a gun with the port on the other side. I've never seen one.

Dlask Arms makes a left hand version of the 1911, a complete mirror image of the original right handed version. Everytime you pick up a single action revolver, with the loading gate on the right side, you are picking up a left handed gun. When Colt originally designed the loading gate on the right side, it was due to the fact that Sam Colt was left handed. There is one company in Texas which makes a true righty single action revolver, made by a man called Grover, with the loading gate on the left side. If you look through our history of Topics, you will find the left handed Dlask Arms pistol; I think you will find it in the 1911 area of the boards.

DA, I never heard of Dlask. I see they make quite a few interesting models. Do you know anything about their quality?
I just realized I'm being sucked in by their photography.

The Walther P-38 (and the P1) eject on the left too. See XavierBreath's review in the critiques area. It's 2 pages back I think.

TMan; I've only used their triggers on a couple of my 1911 project pistols. Talking of their triggers; They are oversized for fitting, with magnesium shoes, lightweight titanium stirrups, tabs for takeup adjustment, and overtravel screws. I don't know much about their quality, but what they put into just the trigger, I would not bet against the pistol.
