Just wanted to say "thanks" for informing me about the Kimber line of pistols. I did quite a bit of looking the other week, thought I wanted just a basic handgun for defense, and then saw an Eclipse Target Pro II. Now I have my old Colt loaded for house protection and I'm saving a few extra $$$ for the Eclipse. It appears to be a really NICE gun! Felt great in my hand though I don't know how the checkered plastic grips will feel as I'm used to the rubber ones on the Colt. But if it shoots half as good as it looks and feels, what a great gun! Joe, if I was to buy a pistol based on looks it would be the Kimber Eclipse. I've never shot one, but I've held several. They are really an eye pleasing pistol.
I have a couple of Kimbers and like them very much.

Joe; If there is any one single handgun design you can change to your own personnal preference, it will be a 1911. If you need any leads on obtaining grips, holsters, or any other accessories, feel free to let us know.

You can't go wrong with a Kimber, great buy! I've often toyed with the idea of adding an Eclipse to my collection. Love that finish ...
