Someone woke up the Walther IT dept.

Well, it's finally happened. In the 3 years that I've been looking at it, the Walther America website has finally been upgraded.

Nothing breathtaking, but compared to the junior-varsity effort that went into the last site, it's a major improvement.

My '03 version of the P99 in the DA/SA action is no longer available. Only DAO available now, ala Glock. No more Ti coating either. You can however, get a tan one.Maybe mine will become collectable...

I noticed an American Rifleman ad that showed a compact version of the P99. Is that brand new?

Has a short grip, like a Glock 27.

(I almost bought a G27 when I first got my carry license. Glad I did not. Probably would have shot myself in the toe by now...)

P99C has been out for a year or so. I haven't handled one myself, but no complaints from those who own one over at the Walther Forum.
