After a long, long wait, I finally took delivery of the PPK/s in 32 ACP. In case you are interested, the specs are at: www.waltheramerica.com/firearms/ppks.cfm#The dealer had a Sig 232, which we compared to the PPK/s. I could shoot the Sig, but I'd have to be extremely careful or the slide would get me. The PPK/s, with the large beaver-tail, completely protects my hand. I would have rather had the PPK, with its smaller frame, but I wanted the 32 ACP chambering. (I have a few other guns in 32, and none in 380). In case you aren't aware of the PPK/s history: our wonderful law-makers decided that the PPK was too small and would be dangerous to have sold in the USA. So, in order to get the necessary points to import, Walther took the larger frame from the PP and mated it to the slide of the PPK and produced the PPK/s model. If you would care to know more G2 on the PPK from MI6 you can read about it at the following link: www.mi6.co.uk/sections/articles/walther_ppk_history.php3?t=&s=articlesSo in addition to my James Bond car (Jackie Chan drove on in the movie Tuxedo too), I know have a PPK look-a-like. Well, actually this is my second one. I have one that is chambered in 22LR too. Now I need some grips for this like the ones I have for the Interarms one.

Thanks for the link TMan! I thought I had read every link there is on the PPK & PPK/s but I had missed that one.
By the way, I hope that's not your new handgun in the picture. That one's chambered in .380. ;D

Good eye, but they didn't have a picture of the 32 ACP on their site.
I caught myself loading 32 ACP rounds into a 9mm magazine once. Since then, I never take a 32 ACP pistol to the range along with a 9mm pistol.

I think I'd have a bigger problem with 9mm & .380acp. I've been itching for a 9mm for a while. This could be trouble for me.
You need to get some new grips for that thing TMan. That plastic has always bugged me.
I wanted a PPK rather than a PPK/s too. I just wasn't patient enough to wait until they were available. My local gunshop still doesn't have them in.

I waited for over a year for this one. You are right about the grips. It took me a long time to get the grips for my Interarms one, and it really dressed it up. I'm no more fond of plastic grips than I am of polymer guns.
I took it to the range today, and did okay with it, but nothing to write home about. The shots were pretty much in the middle, but several were high.
The reason you mentioned: the 9mm and 380 being so close is the major reason that I never bought a 380. I really scared myself when I screwed up with the 32, I can just imagine what I would do with the 380.
