The new Sig P220 Carry looks like an interesting addition to the market. It is a shortened version of the standard P220. Unlike the P245 which had a shorter grip and lower capacity, the P220 Carry has the standard grip dimensions allowing the 8+1 capacity in .45 ACP. Below is the P220 Carry SAS which is dehorned (anti-snag) and has the DAK double action only trigger. It is advertised at 7.5 lbs. trigger pull weight. The SAS is also the only version without a picatinny rail. Sig has gone rail crazy this year...amoung other things. The P220C has a 3.9" barrel compared to the standard P220's 4.4" barrel.

I haven't tried out the feel of the new DAK triggers, but I do know 7.5 lbs is light on a double action revolver.

I'd like to learn how to do that stippling on the wood grips.

I am sure those are machined with CNC, but I have seen wood stippling tools. I think Brownells may carry them. They are like round bar stock with many needle like protrusions.
