For a carry gun, many would like to have a large caliber (say a .45), in as small a package as possible. Up until now, the Warthog by Para was as close as I could find. An article on .380 loads for the PPK in Combat Handguns caught my eye and I picked it up. The cover features the Kahr P45 though, and the article inside shows that it is in the same game as the Para. It seems to be a toss up though. The Kahr is shorter (by 0.2" at 6.3"), thinner (not sure by how much, but the double stacked Para won't compare to the 1.01" of the single stacked Kahr), and lighter at 20.5 oz vs the 24 of the steel Para. The Para however is shorter (by .3" at 4.5") and holds 10+1 versus the Kahr's 6+1. That, and it's not plastic ;D It's something to think about, but I still like the Para.
