The S&W 952 is a product of their Performance Center, and they loudly acclaimed its accuracy. I took it along with the Kimber 1911 to the range yesterday, and both my dealer and I shot it. She did fairly well with the S&W, but with the Kimber was way off. I put 5 rounds through the S&W with 3 in the black. Oh the shame. I picked up the second magazine and only got 2 in the black. She always wants me to shoot a gun before she shoots it, and with the Kimber I put 4 rounds through the same hole, and then got excited/nervous and slightly pulled the 5th shot. Sights? I don't think so because if you look at the sights, they are virtually identical. Ammo? It was all out of the same box. Could it just be the fact that the Kimber is a 1911 and I'm used to the fit in my hand? She only shot a 1911 once before, when her husband took her to the range and let her shoot a 45. She hated it. I'm wondering if she had a mental block. Shooting is so simple: you align the sights and squeeze the trigger. It is like the stock market: buy low, sell high. All so simple. Know what is really simple? Me!!!

TMan; She probably anticipated the recoil on the 1911 as being more than it actually was. Some people don't fare so well with handguns they're afraid of.
