I hadn't been to the Sigarms site in awhile and after figuring I was going to have to click on their Sigarms Credit Card ad, I was able to view their products. Of interest is their new P226 X-Five Competition shown above and the X-Five "Allround". These have MSRP's of $1700 and $1500 respectively. The Competition has an SA trigger of 4.5lbs and the Allround a DA/SA of 10lbs/4.5lbs. It appears to me that the Allround is the replacement for the P226 Sport, but has the X-Five name, which makes it more desireable. Let me review my Sigarms Purchases: P220 Sport P226 Sport P226 X-Five *P220 Langdon P228 Mosquito *Trailside Thanks to the clever marketing people in one of the blue states, this list is complete. (I didn't list the P-210 because it is a Sig not a Sig Sauer, and I didn't purchase it new). Modified to add an asterisk to show that these items are still in the current catalog.

TMan; I probably have all the Sig Sauers and Sigarms pistols that I'll ever buy. I went over to the Sigarms website and found Single Action versions of the 220 and others. Talking about different flavors; Most of my pistols are already historical foot marks. I would not mind giving the SIG 556 a closer look.
Remember that S&W discontinued two of their flagship revolvers of the 20th century, with the M-27 & M-29. Seemed like blued steel was being passed over in favor of stainless, especially when they also discontinued the original L-Frame M-586.
Don't matter to me how many guns are discontinued, as long as I have the ones I want before they're out of reach. There are still alot of discontinued S&Ws out there.
