TMan; I have very little information on the Welrod but what I do have provides me with my first thought about the barrel having an integral silencer. The British have been known to incorporate the use of sound suppressed firearms, both in military and commercial applications. This particular pistol reminded me of one I once saw on a program about low report weapons and the British. The Welrod also came with a 6 round magazine.
