Hey buddy, I wouldn't recommend either. I have a CZ-75, and I bought the AGI video for it. In it, he talks about needing two slave pins of certain length and diameter in order to reassemble it.
My CZ-75 has a very creepy trigger, and because of the slave pins, I've never tackled it. Apparently Armalite successfully copied the CZ design because the one that I dry-fired at my dealer's had a creepy trigger.
From an external standpoint, the CZ looks a lot like the BHP, however, it is totally different inside. The EAA Witness and Magnum Research Baby Eagle have the same design. I have a Baby Eagle, and it doesn't have a creepy trigger. Guess it is a matter of workmanship/pride.
The only thing odd about my Baby Eagle is that the recoil spring is quite stiff. If you limp wrist the gun, it looks like the slide is running in slow motion.
I've never shot the Witness, but I would recommend the Baby Eagle.
The dealer's cost on the Baby Eagle is ~$430, a CZ-75 is ~$395, an EAA Witness ~$310, and AR-24 is ~$432.
Modified to add: Of course there are minor differences as far as sights and magazine capacity is concerned. The AR-24's are readily available, there are a few Baby Eagles available, as are the CZ's, the EAA's are much harder to get. Hey, wonder if it has anything to do with the price?

Interesting about the creepy trigger. There must be variation from one CZ75 to another. My CZ75B has a very good trigger. Not excellent, but very good. A friend of mine, who was an Air Force base armorer for a while, has consistently made one big hole in the target at 10 yards using my CZ (emptying a 10 round mag). I can't do it, but he has demonstrated just how much more accurate the gun is than I am. Ron
