Nice looking firearm. Looks heavy. What's the black gadget next to the magazine?

That black thing is a round of .38 Super. ;D
No, actually it is a cleaning kit.

TA; I do like the rails. Looks like the top rails of the slide sits inside the bottom rails of the frame; same as the SIG 210. Looks like everything has been done that can be done. The Aquila ammo is reasonable; you will find it to be very common in 38 Super. I have bought the Georgia Arms 38 Super but it is new, with Starline cases and Gold Dot hollow points. For practice, I use the Aquila fmj.

DA, For some unknown reason, Auguila is a little scarce right now. Natchezz just got some in, but it is $13.99 box. I am hoping I can do a little better than that. I also found Armscor for $270 case. It is well known as a good competition round with IPSC shooters. But it is not +P rated and I want to reload. I am thinking of going with the +P Aguila for the higher rated cases.

I've used the Aquila 130 gr. + P, FMJ, and I'm quite fond of it. A few years ago I purchased a couple of cases from a relative of a friend who was selling all his pistols and ammunition. He gave me something like 800 rds of Winchester with the Sig 220 ,38 Super, and I later bought two cases of Aquila from him for three hundred dollars. I don't know how much the Aquila costs because I haven't had to buy any from another source. I have bought some Georgia Arms Power Plus Gold Dots and spent a little over $13. dollars per 50 rds for it. Altogether I've acquired around six thousand rounds in 38 Super +P and have but one pistol to fire it through. The 38 super +P feels much like the 357 sig to shoot, so I shoot it to save on my 357 sig ammo.

TA; A pistol such as this deserves top billing in our galleries.

TA; That pistol looks to be a very serious shooter. I really like the full length rails, with the frame overlapping the slide rails. Reminds me of the rails on a SIG 210.
That pistol has so many High End Custom features about it. I kept going back to look at it, I finally thought the gallery would be more of a spot light for it. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Well, I just bit the bullet and ordered one from Williams Shooter Supply in 9mm. I've been very pleased with my much cheaper EAA Witness Elite Match, and I'm thinking of selling it to my Physical Therapist.
I'm finding it difficult these days to find anything new that I want, but I'm expecting that this Limited Edition will fit the bill.
I may have mentioned it before, but I took the Match to the range and shot it with my left hand. I got more than half in the middle. The next week I took the Glock 34, and didn't do very well. I never shot the Glock well with two hands, I don't know what ever possesed me to think I'd shoot it well with the left hand. Dumb a$$.

I'd have to search through the years of posts, but I think that's the first reference I've seen to TMan actually parting with a gun.

Maybe this is the "Change" that nobama has been talking about. ;D
I have not had my Tanfoglio out in quite a while. I have had the intention of setting it up with a mount and red dot sight. I have the sight, but have not ordered a mount yet. I have never never shot a gun configured for Open Class, so I thought it would be fun.

You guys! Yes, I have parted with a gun before, and have regreted it ever since. It was a Ruger 22/45, and I had troubles with it jamming. I paid $200 for it and got $150 for it as a trade-in on my Browning Hi-Power.
I discussed it with the PT yesterday, and he said he would like "to think about it over the weekend" (Translation: "I need to ask my wife.") I told him to take his time because the gun wasn't for sale, but I'd sell it to him i.e. I wouldn't be selling it to anyone else. If he doesn't want it, I won't be heart broken.
