OK guys, I have a little problem. Out of a box of 50 rounds I had 3 rounds today that didn't feed into the chamber. They ended up with the bullet vertical having the nose pointing up.
This has happened before and I thought it just needed a good cleaning. I cleaned it, but to no avail. I also took the magazine apart and cleaned it.
So today it was clean, oiled, and still got the 3 jams. After the first jam, I put a death hold on the pistol with a locked elbow. I still had 2 more jams in the next 30 rounds.
I really can't attack the feed ramp with a dremel because this is a blowback design and the barrel is pinned and contained within the frame. Even if I took the barrel out, the hood over it would prevent me from getting in there properly with the dremel to polish it.
I've tried to visualize what could be going wrong, but I'm rather baffled by the whole thing. Anyone with any ideas?

I suppose the easiest thing to try would be different ammo. I don't know very much at all about any CZ, but is it possible that this particular model is simply unreliable due to it's design?
I'd also look to see if you're using factory magazines. My aftermarket magazines for the P99 are lousy.

MLB, I only have the Fiocchi ammo in 32ACP except for the Silvertips. (Those Personal Protection rounds are an expensive way to test a cheap gun.)
This is the original magazine that came with the gun. Well, how do I know that since I'm not the original owner?
I just looked at MidwayUSA and they have the magazines for $41, but this is a $200 gun - that is a lot of money. I just checked with Wolff and they don't have springs for the gun either. Therefore, I'm not too keen on throwing money at something I could end up throwing away.
On visual inspection, I don't see anything wrong with the magazine, like bent lips or something like that. It seems to me if it was the magazine spring, it just wouldn't feed at all.
Could the extractor cause this? If the round wasn't going underneath the extractor?

I tend to lean toward the magazine when there are feeding issues. If you think it is the spring, you can try to stretch it a little and see if it helps. Back when we were limited to Clinton magazines, a lot of guys were buying the .40 mags for their 9mm and they were having similar feeding issues. They angled the front (near the bullet) part of the feed lips in and down slightly. This helped keep the bullet nose down a little bit.

5OT, I tried stretching the magazine spring. Guess what? It made it worse. I had 4 jams in 20 rounds this morning. I switched to the SR9, and surprised myself - shot it quite well except when I limp-wristed it a couple of times and got hit in the head with the brass.
Looking at the magazine with one round in it, I noticed that the front part of the magazine is bent outward slightly. Without a round in there I can't tell it, but with the round...
It was cold this morning (not MLB's type cold - Texas cold), but I was range officer so had to hang around. It turned out to be fortunate for me because a very talented gunsmith showed up. His diagnosis was the magazine too. I told him that I didn't want to put the money into it because it is a $200 gun, has quite a bit of holster wear, and just didn't look that great.
Then he told me that he does a lot of restorations. I asked him if he did bluing and he said that he did. So, I'm thinking maybe I should consider getting a new magazine, disassemble it, get it refinished, and I'd have a good shooting little gun (it is heavy, doesn't have any recoil, doesn't use my forehead as a target to bounce brass off [SR9 got me twice today]).
I'm definitely going to think about it. Although I think I'd need to be able to find new wood grips for it before I decide to do it. These plastic grips are kind of tacky.
