Last month I noticed a nice looking case when I was picking up my Walther. It said Tanfoglio on the case. I did a bad thing - I looked inside the case... After the horrible results I got with the Tanfoglio GT32, I didn't expect to ever own another Tanfoglio product, but since this came out of their custom shop and has a SA trigger, I thought I'd try again. The pistol is based on the CZ-75. I have a CZ-75 and a CZ-Kadet, and both of them have a creepy trigger, which I haven't gotten around to working on yet. If you check the EAA web-site, www.eaacorp.com/handguns-witness-elite.html you will note that there are 4 models available. The bottom one is the Match model and is the cheapest of the 4 models. Why did I get the cheapest one? Because it really was available. They had them in stock. Now I just have to find the time to go shoot it. It doesn't look too good for tomorrow because we have a 70% chance of a snow storm.

Tman; You should get that Gold Team pistol, it has a few nice looking features about it. The others are very nice looking but the top one looks like something for the top shelf.

DA, you can't buy what the distributors don't have!!! I bought the Match because Acusport had them in stock.
If this thing shoots really well, and the Gold Team becomes available... Of course, as you know, I'm not going to be getting a lot of shooting in over the next 3 years. I will however be doing a lot of research. I may even join some other forums. ;D
Incidentally, something I forgot to mention: the slide to frame fit on this sucker is awesome. I think it is right up there with the fit on the Sig P210.
Also, for the money ($468 before my discount), I think it is a heck of a buy.

Hmmm, what do I say about this gun? First the negatives: the adjustable sights were causing the rounds to hit too low. I had to raise the rear sight with the enclosed tool. Also, a couple of times, I noticed just a little bit of creep.
The guns is two-toned, which is ok, but nothing that I get too excited about. Several people at the range held it and liked the grip.
It is hard to say what I liked the most: the nice hole in the center of the targets or the price of the gun. If I'd brought the targets home, and looked at them a year from now, I'd expect that I shot them with the Sig P210 or S&W 952. This is an excellent pistol, and I'm actually glad that I bought the least expensive of the series. How much more of an improvement would there be in my target if I'd bought the top of the line, which costs 3 times as much, (if I could locate one)? I doubt very little.
