These Tupperware Cowboys never cease to amaze me. I got a challenge of my own; Try soaking a Glock, a Sig Sauer, and a 1911 in a bucket of methyline choride overnight. Look to find who comes in dead last the next morning.

So who has a bucket of methyline choride (sic) sitting around? Oh, actually I do have a paint can with some Berryman B9 stuff that contains methyline chloride. I don't know what the percentages are, but I know it is nasty stuff. I use it for cleaning the 4 carbs on the motorcycle. I would never, ever, use it without gloves, nor use it indoors.

TMan; The odds with any of my guns being dipped in the kind of stuff this guy put the Glock through, are about the same as me dipping my guns in paint remover.
I know another; Try throwing a 1911, a Sig, a Revolver, and a Glock into a campfire, or atop a layer of burning coals. Which do you think will come in dead last ?

Ahhh, the new Survivor Series. My bet is on the revolver. The grips may be toast, but the gun will still function.
On one of the Torture Tests on the Outdoor Channel, they did cook a Glock on an outdoor grill along with the chicken. The Glock did show some minor damage, but still functioned. It looked better than the chicken anyhow, but I wouldn't want to taste it.

Sure that wasn't on the Food Network? That Alton Brown cooks up some fun stuff. Never seen him do an Austrian dish though.
If I were to toss a 1911, a SIG, and a revolver in the fire, I'd likely end up in jail. They wouldn't be my firearms, and the real owner would likely be pissed!

My Gun Safe has a fire liner, which protect my guns for 30 minutes in 2,000 degrees of heat. Beyond that, The guns are on their own and at the mercy of the fire hoses. The fire hoses will get them, no matter what.
