Who knows anything about Talo Distributors?

I saw on the Ruger web-site a reference to a model 10/22 that they said was a Talo model. If you click their link, it takes you to the Davidson's web-site.
Are the Talo models made by Talo from stock from the manufacturers? Or, do the manufactuers make special models that they designate as Talo models?
I was looking at "Ruger USA Shooting Team Race Rifle". I'm not sure if I want it or not, but I do at some point need to get another rifle because I have a $400 scope in the closet waiting for a rifle for it.
