My back-order shipment of Wilson's Ultima-Lube Cleaner & Bore Solvent finally arrived in the mail this week. It was a nice surprise because I remember ordering it, but it was month's ago. So, how good is it compared to what I've been previously using? I decided the best test would be to clean a gun that was already "clean".
I poured some on a patch, ran it down through the barrel, and went out to run some errands. A couple of hours later, I ran a brass brush per their instructions and then a dry patch. Wow, was I surprised - there was a bunch of green stuff, which I assume was copper on the patch.
My conclusion: they made a believer out of me; it was well worth the wait. Ole Bill Wilson knows his stuff.

TMAN; I have a video from Bill Wilson, where they test the Ultimalube Oil on a tester for bearing lubricants. The Ultimalube performed far beyond the required standard for a pistol lubricant. I like the Ultimalube grease for the frame rails on all my semi-autos. I use the Ultimalube Oil on my Heating and Air Conditioner motor bearings at home also.
