I like the HKS thumb-loaders because they save wear and tear on my thumb. I have several for the MKII, (they work on MKI) as well, but just found out they don't work on the Mark III magazines. Embrassing:
"Try one of these, they really make it easier to load". "Hey, that is nice... little hard to push down though... How do you get it off." "You need to work out... it just pulls straight up... here let me show you... What the heck? What is this barb sticking out on the side of the magazine? Oh, must be part of the new magazine disconnect... Guess we are going to have to take the magazine apart."

Moral of the story: Don't be on the leading edge of technology.
I still got to shoot the Mark III, but noticed a fairly heavy trigger. Measured to 4lb on my scale.
