Well placed shots is alot better than hope, faith, spray and pray. However; This +P defensive ammo is reasonable enough to afford some practice with, and it's all factory loaded, using new starline cases and gold dot bullets. My favorite is the #G45AE, for the .45 acp; 185 gr. +P., my second best in +P is with the 38 special and 38 super (Check those out as well, along with the 357 sig)

thanks for the ad post. i didn't know they made +p for 9mm? that is cool. I shoot with two of my friends regularly and this girl has the 5- shot S&W .38 +P (i think they say special, can you have a .38 special +P or are those two different things?) anyway its a airweight arlite or something like that and she always carries the +p ammo...wow i love it...it has the laser in the grip and has a hammer on it, I think DA has told me the model once but im forgetful ANYWHO, my point was i didn't know they had +P for 9mm. If my gun makes no mention of the ability to use +P in it, how can i find out if its safe for it (i think im having daja vu here, i hope i haven't asked this already) also can my friends ruger p89 handle the +P ? by the way we went to the woods weekend before christmas and shot pumkins up with various ammo and by the end we had the ground littered with casings. I used my hornady 124 grain ammo TAP hollowpoints. same hole as the wwb but big exit wounds
