I received an email from Winchester a few weeks ago advertising a free trigger lock with purchace. It looked just like the Master lock I have now. I figured why not and picked it up with a new mouse pad as mine is disintegrating. While I was there, I also added a small penknife that looked like the Victorinox Swiss Army that I already have. I don't think the order came to more than $10. You get what you pay for. The made in Taiwan mousepad is fine. But then again, it's hard to mess up a slab of foam. The knife is one of the cheapest things I've seen to date. The greyish blade is even bent! The Taiwan lock is what really gets me though. It's only been a few hours, but for the life of me I still can't get it open. On the off chance that I do get the two halves seperated, you can be d@mned sure that I'm not clamping it to any firearm of mine! It's beyond me why a company with a good name would sell junk. This stuff is flea market grade.

I ... This stuff is flea market grade. No, no, no, if it was flea market grade, it would have to be a lot better. At a flea market you would have been able to examine it before you buy it. It definitely sounds like mail-order stuff that is advertised on TV. "Buy now for only 3 small payments of $39.95, and we will give you absolutely free one of these fabulous gizmos. Call now". Anytime I see the word "free", as I've mentioned before, I see a red-flag. If they are giving something away, it means to product isn't selling well enough on its own merits. That makes me very suspect.

I did eventually open the lock. Bent the key a bit while doing it though.
