As most of us that have shot several 22LR's have discovered that some ammo works well in some guns, but not in others. According to the Constitution all men are created equal, but there is a big difference in 22LR ammo (including prices). What Paco's tool does is to resize the bullet to make it fit the barrel better. (It also does a hollow-point thing). What bothers me is that it appears that this will work for a certain gun because he wants you to drive a bullet down through the bore with a rod and then send it to him to build a tool for you. If I only had one gun... I guess the other advantage is that the bullets would be more consistent in size than they are out of the box. Anyone try one or have any thoughts? TMan; I haven't tried one of those tools. Have you ever tried Federal's Gold Medal Match 40 gr. ammo in .22 LR ?

Federal Gold Match, no I haven't seen it any where. I can't believe how many different types of 22LR there are. If you go to MidwayUSA and search on 22LR, you get 188 results.

That tool makes the bullet look a lot like the Hydra-Shoks. I'm not sure exactly how it works, but if it simply pushes down on the bullet, I wonder how he prevents overseating the bullet.
