Has anyone tried or heard of MOLECULAR METAL CONDITIONERS? www.mmc-ltd.net/conditioner.htmlMy STI TargetMaster came with a bottle of it, and I assume that is what it has been "oiled" with. There is a lot of "oil" on the gun. I'm wondering if I should shoot it like this (wearing an old shirt), or clean it off and reapply. It isn't clear to me how much you should apply to the gun.

It sounds like this stuff is like Militec-1 and Slick-50. I understand that it depends on heat to be effective.

I understand that it depends on heat to be effective. Well heat is easy to come by in Texas this summer - jeech. I remember something about some gun manufacturer that said not to use some type of lubricant, but I can't remember which lubricant it was.

There's a guy at the WaltherForums that detail stripped his ppk(/s?), soaked all of the metal parts in Militec-1, and baked them on a cookie sheet in the oven. Magazines, springs and all.
Sounds like a bit overkill to me, but he loves it.
