I was a little hesitant about this gun, but it's the one my wife really wanted. To sum up, I like it OK. It will make a good carry gun for her or a night-stand gun if she doen't want to carry it.
It holds 5 .38 Special rounds with a 2 inch barrel. Ours is stainless steel and is very nice to look at. The grip, even as short as it is doesn't feel bad at all when shooting. A two hand grip on this feels just like a two hand grip on anything else.
The Taurus has the normal pop-up front site and these long rails for a back site. It took me a while to get used to them, but after 30 rounds I had then figured out. For close ranges(10 ft), you even-up the tops of the front and back sites. For long ranges (7 yds) you site along the back rail (keep it horizontal with your eye) and just use the front site for left-right adjustment.
Recoil is surprisingly light. Accuracy and Precision are both very good once you get used to aquiring the sites. I've got a 3/4 inch group with three overlapped shots at 10 ft. If you have to use this gun at longer range than that... don't aim. Just pull the trigger while running away.
It's a good little gun. Very concealable. My wife tried it with an Uncle Mike's pants clip holster and it was invisible, even on her (she's very tiny). Be very careful with getting a speed loader though. The grip seems to intrude on the space that the speed loader needs to get through. The cylinder does NOT swing very far out and it took me longer to use the speed loader than loading by hand.
