I read a review about this in the May 2001 issue of N.R.A.'s American Rifleman. This is a conversion which makes the Ruger .22 Semi- Auto much easier to field strip. It is Manufactured by Majestic Arms, Ltd., of Staten Island, NY. If you have a Ruger, give this a look. www.majesticarms.com/ruger22.html

DA, Okay, I gave it a look. No thanks. I have two MK 2's, and I love them. After I took the time to figure out how they worked, putting them back together is easy - don't have to even follow Ruger's instructions. The $45 + SH isn't a problem, but I'd really hate to screw either of them up, and there really isn't a need for it. See: handgunforum.proboards3.com/index.cgi?board=RangeResultsOpinions&action=display&n=1&thread=1723Am I really disagreeing with DA? That would be like taking sides against God. Of course some day God and I are going to have a little chat: 1) The aging process and 2) why do roses need thorns? What was He thinking? ;D Actually, DA, you didn't recommend it, you just said to take a look. I was getting in touch with my liberal side and twisting your meaning.

I understand TMAn; I'm not one to turn over a rock and find something that might be of use for someone who might find a need for an item such as this. I probably would have ignored it without having first seen it in American Rifleman. Your right it; I'm not endorsing it, nor am I condemning it, just offering it up for a look. I learn more from you guys that anyone one person could possibly get from listening to my ramblings. Well; I have to go back to the burning bush, another prayer just came in. ;D
