As most of you know, I've never been satisfied with the trigger on my Glock 34. It isn't that particular model - it is a Glock!!!
My last attempt at improving it was with the installation of a new connector called a Ghost Rocket connector, which has a little tab at the end of it to limit over-travel. The tab was too long, by design, and it was necessary to file it to get it to work with my pistol. I could see an improvement, but still I wasn't too happy with the Glock.
Last week I got to install a new trigger, springs, and firing pin safety plunger from www.triggerkit.com
They have two offerings: one with a 3.5lb connector, and one without the connector. Since I already had the Ghost Rocket connector ( www.ghostinc.com/category/35_rocket/ ), I got the trigger kit w/o the connector, and it cost me $65 with shipping.
Included with the kit was instructions that tell you on a 3 pin Glock, you push out the top pin for the locking block first, and then the bottom pin. The tricky part is that normally you put things back in reverse order. Not so with the Glock, you put the top pin in first. Having taken this apart several times before... I don't need to tell you what I did, but it wasn't "read the instructions".
Anyhow, the kit did make a drastic improvement in the feel of the trigger. However, what would normally be the trigger return spring pull against the trigger is still a bit too high. Basically, the trigger now feels much like my K31 rifle: long pull and suddenly it goes bang. I was RO on Friday, and I had a guest with me (the pastor of the church I started attending last year), so I didn't get much of a chance to shoot the Glock, but I will.
I definitely think the kit was well worth the $65 that it cost me.
