Hey guys, I got a new Savage 93R17 GV in 17HMR a couple of days ago for $169 out the door, that was about $18 cheaper than Walmart before the tax. I bought a Bushnell 4x12x40 scope with A.O. and a rangefinder. It was $35 as new in the box, it was all I could afford right now. I'm waiting to get some ammo. and hopefully give it a try soon.

Deals abound for you, don't they? Nice deal. I'd like to try a .17 some day. How can you stand the anticipation, two guns that you haven't yet shot!

The winter months are hard for me to go shooting too. I do most of my shooting my back field, not too fun in the winter with wind bowing. Maybe I'm just not serious enough about my shooting?

5ontarget, I think the older we get the less desire we have to go out in the freezing cold .
