Hello all,

Got a question for you. What, in your opinion, are the top knives available today. I'm talking production knives (Spyderco, Benchmade, Gerber) and not $500 handmades.

I know nothing about knives really, and am gathering up some info right now. Anyone have an opinion what the top makers are? best bang for the buck? Best quality?

If you are thinking of a fixed blade combat style with sheath, I like the BK10.

I have been using the same knife for almost two years now and it has never failed me. I have had a $30 Gerber AR 3.0 and I swear that thing would cut me out of a car if need be and keep an edge. I have had no reason to by a $150 knife.
