that looks like a great setup. its too bad i bought mine a few years ago. during the AWB, my SAR-1 was not able to have the muzzle lip or bayonet lug. I do not need the bayonet for any particular reason, but I think it helps round out a collection. maybe i could sell my old one to someone for $300 and get a new one with all the goodies. hmmm.. ;D

edit: if you don't mind my asking, where did you pick that rifle up? the net?

i got my AK at Classic Pistol, which is the range at which i go shooting in Southhampton PA. i got the scope mount at a little gun shop near lebanon PA and the scope at another little gun shop. those places are cool. anyway they gave it to me for 400 bucks plus tax and stuff. great freakin deal. i keep getting such awesome deals on stuff.

yeah i just got another nice deal yesterday. at the philadelphia guard armory show i got a glock 31 (357sig). it was $480 new. however, i paid 30 bucks out of pocket for it. i traded in 3 other guns on it. the p89, the p22 and the comanche (holy crap was i ever glad to get rid of that piece). here's what is freakin amazing about that:

1993 Ruger P89 in nearly new condition with 2 high-caps:
i paid $225 plus tax and crap. traded in for: $225

2004 Walther P22:
bought brand new for $130 plus trade-in of s/w sigma SW9VE. traded in for: $130

2003 Comanche III 357Mag paperweight:
bought new for $250 . traded in for: $85 but i couldn't sell it to someone and have a clear conscience.

all that then they charged me 30 bucks for a brand new Glock 31.

When I first read that you traded in 3 guns for a Glock, I thought "holy crap! 3 guns for a Glock!"

After your detail however, I suppose that's not such a bad deal afterall (aside from the Commanche hit )

Have fun with the .357sig cartridge, I hear it's a blast.
