I'm having the trigger of my 77/22 worked on. My question is what else can I do to the gun to improve accuracy without completly changing the gun? I thought about a bull barrel but wasn't sure if it would be worth the money.

Maybe the sear too, if that isn't being done. I have a new sear and trigger for mine, just haven't gotten it installed yet. Personally, I wouldn't replace the barrel, I think it is more expensive than it is worth. I'm not too wild about my new 77/22, but I think it is because I bought a CZ452, which cost a lot less, and I like a lot more.

You could try putting a shim in front of the forward action screw to free float the barrel. That and a little trigger work can make a world of difference. It sure did to my 77/22.
