Here is a Yugoslavian M70B that I just finished building. This is my first build and was quite a learning experience. I used a DCI Receiver and Tapco G2 fire control group.

Sounds like a challenging project. Have you had a chance to take it to the range yet?

looks great TA! With the current crop of AK's I've seen recently, I'd consider building one too. They look like they were assembled by blind goats using rocks and sticks. Let us know how it shoots. All you need is an extra hole in the reciever, a different sear, and ...ummm never mind...

Beautiful gun TA - the steps, on the other hand... Looks like someone doesn't know how to cut risers.
Sorry, been up of 29 hours. Going to get my Teddy Bear and go to bed.

All you need is an extra hole in the reciever, a different sear, and ...ummm never mind... ;D Actually, the rifle came with the full auto fire control group. Anybody considering doing a build should buy a kit now, because the ATF, in their infinite wisdom, has re-interpreted the current law and decided that they have been breaking it, so no more rifles like these are to be imported. TMan, Thanks! I built the rifle, not the steps. Now go to bed. ;D MLB, I did test fire it. I ran around 20 rounds through it. I had checked it out pretty good first. It passed go/no go gauges for headspace, but I still tied a trigger line on it and fired the 1st couple rounds from 20 feet behind it.

Discretion is the better part of valor they say. And " a whole face is better than no face."I don't remember who said that.
