Isold my Savage 10FXP3 .243 Sunday Night so I could buy the rifle I really wanted. A Savage 12FVXP in 22-250 with a Simmons 4x12x40 scope, Synthetic Stock, 26" heavy barrel, large bolt knob and the ACCU-TRIGGER. I got it at Dick's Sporting Goods for $499 plus tax. Now all I need is a bi-pod.
. It may be a while before I get to try it out, the shooting range I go to is closed for the 2 week gun buck season here. That will probably put me into December 5th or so, my have to put on the Long Johns! The ammo. I'm going to try first is the UMC 45.gr hp. it's supposed to be around 4,000fps.
