I hadn't seen this until about a month ago, a rimfire with interchangeable barrels. It can shoot .17HMR, .17mach 2, .22LR, and .22WMR. The magazines are designed to only fit the proper caliber/barrel. Single stage adjustable trigger 2-4lbs. Magazine capacity is 5 rounds. Seems to be around $1400 for the full set. The Finns can make some pretty nice firearms. Sako's most popular rifle is probably the 75, available in many calibers. This is a nice idea, and I'm sure Sako built a good product. I've read a couple reviews on it and it seems to be well liked by the reviewers. Then again, I have seldom seen a negative review of a gun in a magazine.

I saw that, and I saw that Burris makes a Quad scope to go with it. There are colored elevation bands that correspond with the colored barrels on the Sako Quad. The beauty of this is that you can have the scope zeroed in for point of impact on a particular barrel, and then when you switch back to it again, just a click and you are zeroed in again. Interesting that both Sako and Burris are now owned by Beretta, which is not one of my favorite manufacturers. Incidentally, my favorite gun magazine grocery store (whose produce sucks, but they have great beef), had a new Guns and Ammo magazine Complete Book of Rimfires, which will be displayed until March 28th. They also had a Shotgun News magazine Mausers The World's Greatest Bolt Rifle., but I didn't buy it. Whoops, thought I was talking to my wife - of course I bought it. Guess I'll shop at that grocery store more often and eat less vegetables and more beef. In case my cardiologist is reading this:
